Who We Are

Our Congregation

African International Lutheran Mission (AILM) is a multinational immigrant Congregation with the Southern Oho Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Besides Word and Sacrament, our Congregation has been visible in the immigrant Community in Columbus, OH. AILM has provided and continues to provide leadership and commitment to human dignity for marginalized minorities and less fortunate in the Columbus Community.

Our Vision

The vision and focus of the AILM has been to bring a unique contemporary African –style ministry to African immigrants and other nationals. We believe God is calling us to do ministry with a unique African flavor and taste where immigrants can find their identity as PEOPLE of God.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to reach the Unreachable with the Holy Bible, making disciples of all Nations (Matthew 28:19). Disciples like martin Luther who opened the Gospel through Reformation. We believe that the world is not completely evangelized. The challenge is greater than ever before; hence the command of our Lord remains.

Our Team

AILM believes that we are stronger together. Our staff has the momentum serving God, His people and each other. God has given everyone a talent; these talents are used to serve him. Our Church is built around family values. Every member knows each other by name.
